Importance of communication
An important purpose of your au pair stay in Denmark is to improve your language skills and to get an insight into Danish culture and the Danish way of life. This is only possible if you are already able to communicate with the host family and other Danes fairly well in at least one language – normally English.

It’s good to know the rules
